Otis's call   There's somebody inside the HOME AND GARDEN SHOP in AL FRESCA PLAZA. I didn't get a good look at 'em, but I'm pretty sure it was a man. He looked really scared. He must be dealin' with some heavy stuff right now.[1]
Dead Rising Scoop

The Coward is a Dead Rising scoop. Otis calls about a scared man in McHandy's Hardware in Al Fresca Plaza (Otis confusingly calls it the "Home and Garden Shop"). Gordon Stalworth is cowering behind the counter in the back. Speak with Gordon. Apparently, he's too scared to move and no amount of cajoling is going to get him to budge. Grab one of the boxes behind the counter and throw it at him. One hit gets him moving. Speak with him a second time to get him to follow Frank.

Arm Gordon with a melee weapon such as a Lead Pipe or Shovel.[2]

Conversation with Gordon[]

Frank: Hey...

Gordon: No. Get back!

Frank: It's too dangerous here. Move!

Gordon: Help me. I'm too young to die!

Frank: I know. That's why you've got to come with me.

Gordon: No! I can't die! I can't!

Frank hits Gordon

Gordon: Ahhh! S-S-Stay away from me!

Frank: Listen to me jerk!

Gordon: *sob*

Frank: You're comin' with me. I'll take you to safety. Understand.

Gordon: B-But...

Frank: You heard what I said. Let's go!

Gordon: Ok...[3]
