Paul's Present is a Dead Rising scoop. Otis Washington contacts Frank West on the transceiver to let him know that survivor Paul Carson has something to give him.
If Frank rescued Paul in the scoop Long Haired Punk, Paul can be found in the security room storeroom with the yellow door. Paul wants Frank to promise he will not tell anyone about their fight with the Molotov cocktail. Frank promises not to tell anyone so Paul gives Frank a Molotov cocktail.[2]
The Molotov cocktail respawns which means that Frank can leave the security room area and return to pick up more Molotov cocktails.

Frank: I heard you had something for me. Paul: Heh he he... Yeah. First, I need you to promise me something. We're getting out of here on a helicopter soon, right? Then we'll be f-f-f-free won't we? Frank: Where're you goin' with this? Paul: I... I... I'm not really the type of guy to do something like that... Like what I did... If word of this got out once we were on the outside... That w-w-would suck. I want you to keep your mouth shut about it. If you do, I'll give you something really cool. You'll promise to keep it a secret right? Frank: You just want me to keep my mouth shut? Paul: You rock, Frank! I knew you'd see things my way! Here...take this! You can have it!
