Japanese Tourists is a Dead Rising scoop. Frank will receive a call after 10 pm on the first day.

When Frank arrives in Sir Book-a-lot, there are two men jumping onto the bookcases to escape him, who they think is a zombie.
To calm them down, Frank will need to pick up the Japanese Conversation book from the Sir Book-A-Lot bookstore in which these two Japanese men are in. Talk to Yuu, after Frank talks to them, they will join.
Additional food[]
Like many scoops, this scoop has additional food (apples) in the store, which is only available during the scoop.

 Speak with Yuu, press Shinji: [Oh no! Here comes another one!] Frank: [Tourist. They look JAPANESE...] Frank: [Wait! I different! No one of them!] Shinji: [Who are you!?] Frank: [I Frank! Photograph taker... Journalist.] [If you go safe place together.] Shinji: [Looks like this man wants us to go with him. What do you think?]  Yuu: [What do I think? I think we have no choice but to trust him!]
Shinji: [What kind of journalist would come here for a story? There's clearly something wrong with this man.] Yuu: [Shhh! He'll hear you!] Shinji: [Don't worry! His Japanese sucks. He won't understand.] Yuu: [We can't very well stay here by ourselves, can we?]  Yuu: [Let's just follow him for now but remain suspicious of his tricks.]
Yuu: [What!? You're the one who said it would be a good time!] Frank: [Come. No come. Decide quickly, please.]  Yuu: [Pardon our rudeness. We shall go. My apologies.]

Escorting Survivors[]
The Japanese Tourist mission is only one game hour after Out Of Control, so the scoops can easily be done together. The two Japanese men can help Frank fight Adam if Frank equips them with handguns, which can be easily obtained from the zombie cops outside the bookstore. After defeating Adam, stop the Space Rider and rescue Greg Simpson to travel to the restroom shortcut to Paradise Plaza.[3]

- Both men make short statements repeatedly in English, such as "what's happening here", similar to other survivors, despite not speaking English.
